Role & Responsibilities

  • Research and develop metal accessory prototypes in response to style and development office briefs
  • Assign new component developments to external suppliers and manage project timelines and sample delivery
  • Define production methodologies, materials, finishes, and cost parameters for new accessories
  • Industrialize production accessories by establishing manufacturing processes, validating industrial prototypes, and defining qualitative parameters and critical controls
  • Prepare comprehensive CDC (Cahier Des Charges) technical specifications sheets
  • Create production master documentation for internal and supplier quality teams
  • Train quality control personnel on criticality assessment and production controls
  • Conduct continuous research into emerging production techniques and material innovations applicable to fashion accessories

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent advanced technical diploma with mechanical specialization
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Metal Accessories Specialist or in closely related technical roles
  • Expert knowledge of materials, production processes, and manufacturing techniques for metal accessories in the fashion industry
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting 3D CAD drawings
