Berluti seeks Merchandising Manager for APAC region (Hong Kong) to lead merchandising strategy across four Asian markets and eight luxury retail stores.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and develop merchandising strategies and Open-to-Buy (OTB) plans aligned with regional business objectives
  • Curate merchandise assortments and manage mix planning to meet targeted sales projections and sell-through performance
  • Attend seasonal buying sessions in Paris to secure appropriate inventory for the Asia Pacific region
  • Maintain effective communication with headquarters and retail stores regarding product feedback, market needs, and inventory requirements
  • Prepare sales forecasts and coordinate merchandise reordering to optimize stock levels
  • Propose ready-to-sell collections for special orders and curate seasonal offerings
  • Conduct sell-through analysis and propose action plans to optimize commercial performance
  • Oversee store remerchandising during new product launches and season-end sales
  • Identify training needs and develop product training materials for retail teams
  • Review visual merchandising guidelines to ensure store displays align with global standards, brand positioning, and sales objectives
  • Arrange retail pricing across all markets in accordance with pricing policy and global positioning directives
  • Manage seasonal discount proposals and monitor budget adherence
  • Conduct market research on customer behavior, competitive pricing, and emerging trends
  • Monitor sales situations and implement appropriate strategies to liquidate stocks and accelerate sales

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Merchandising, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of luxury retail merchandising experience
  • Exceptional fashion and market acumen within the retail sector
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Power BI advantageous
