Berluti — Leather Sales Merchandiser in Paris (8th). Permanent full-time role managing assortment and category strategy for leather goods.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define assortment and category strategies for permanent and seasonal leather ranges, ensuring alignment with the Maison’s positioning and commercial targets.
- Collaborate with design, marketing and cross-functional teams to frame collections, perform editing and set purchasing forecasts for assigned categories.
- Monitor category performance through quantitative and qualitative analysis; propose dimensioning, rebalancing and stock optimisation to maximise sell-through and meet sales targets.
- Act as the primary contact for Zone Merchandisers on category matters, supporting their development and challenging performance constructively throughout the year.
- Represent the headquarters in the deployment of product strategy and provide qualitative and quantitative feedback from zones to the house teams.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Visual Merchandising and Clienteling to optimise product launches, lifecycle management and distribution across the retail network.
- Contribute to clustering strategy for products and stores to maximise commercial potential across regions.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) from a business school, university or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in sales merchandising, assortment planning or category management — preferably within luxury fashion or leather goods.
- Fluent English (oral and written) is mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerQuery and PowerPoint; experience with Anaplan and Power BI is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative), high commercial acumen, strong communication and teamwork abilities.

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in sales merchandising, category planning or merchandise planning within fashion or leather goods, with experience supporting retail networks and driving assortment strategies.
Education
Master’s degree (Bac+5) — business school, university or equivalent.
