Berluti in Gaibanella (Ferrara), Italy seeks a Leather Goods Collection Development Intern (internship) to support product development and SAP processes.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Development & Industrialization department across the end-to-end leather goods collection lifecycle, with active involvement in Winter 2027 collection meetings.
  • Identify and document technical and functional properties of raw materials required for production, maintaining up-to-date material lists with codes and photographic records.
  • Photograph and archive prototypes and in-process workmanship at each stage of development, and maintain the prototype library categorised by reference.
  • Prepare materials for prototyping and coordinate shipment of samples to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update collection progression and related master data on the company's ERP (SAP).
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely advancement of samples and collection deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's programme in Fashion, Luxury Management, Economics or a closely related discipline (curricular internship).
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) is advantageous.
  • Strong teamwork orientation, attention to detail, methodical organisation and a curious, problem‑solving mindset.
  • Good command of English; knowledge of French is a plus.

Entry-level internship intended for current degree students or recent graduates with limited professional experience; prior exposure to fashion product development, materials or internships in apparel/leather goods is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is EUR 800 per month.
