About Berluti

Founded in Paris in 1895 by Alessandro Berluti, Berluti is a storied maison renowned for bespoke shoemaking, exceptional leather goods, and a distinctive art of patina. As an employer, the House offers a rare environment where heritage craftsmanship meets contemporary masculine elegance, encouraging artisans, retail talents, designers, and corporate teams to uphold exacting standards while contributing to creative evolution. Part of LVMH, Berluti combines the intimacy of a specialist luxury atelier with the opportunities of a global group, valuing savoir-faire, client excellence, cultural curiosity, and long-term career development in service of objects made with soul, precision, and character.

Berluti is hiring an International Consolidation and Finance Projects Manager on a permanent, full-time basis in Paris. Reporting to Finance Transformation and Services, the role combines international consolidation and financial reporting for approximately 15 subsidiaries with Finance transformation projects, each accounting for about 50% of the role (with projects at about 50% outside closing periods).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead consolidation and financial reporting for an international scope of approximately 15 subsidiaries, ensuring data reliability, deadlines, and compliance with IFRS and Group standards.
  • Organize data collection and functionally administer the reporting tool.
  • Perform quarterly balance sheet and cash flow consolidation, as well as May and November interim closings; check data and consolidation entries, including IFRS 16 and intercompany transactions.
  • Calculate transfer pricing adjustments, communicate them to subsidiaries, and update Berluti SA’s annual documentation.
  • Lead actual and budget tax reporting, review subsidiaries’ tax proofs, and prepare the consolidated tax proof.
  • Ensure application of IFRS standards and Group analytical frameworks; analyze audit reports and liaise with local statutory auditors where necessary.
  • Oversee specific reporting on treasury, boutiques, credit cards, audit fees, real estate, and net debt; prepare consolidated analyses for Berluti’s and LVMH Group’s finance departments.
  • Maintain banking authorities and information in dedicated systems, including TRAX, in coordination with LVMH teams and Internal Control.
  • Improve consolidation and reporting processes, controls, methods, tools, and governance.
  • Lead or support Finance transformation projects to improve processes, tools, and financial information quality.
  • Gather and challenge business requirements in scoping workshops, then translate them into functional and, where necessary, technical specifications aligned with the Maison’s roadmap.
  • Coordinate projects from scoping through deployment and post-launch support, covering schedules, budgets, internal and external resources, governance, and management reporting.
  • Engage Finance, IT, Internal Control, and relevant operational departments, including Operations and Merchandising.
  • Optimize existing ERP, EPM, BI, and digitization solutions; contribute to the selection, design, acceptance testing, and data migration of new solutions.
  • Support change through communication, training, and process documentation.
