Berluti in Ferrara seeks an Industrial Quality Intern to analyse production flows, build KPIs and develop QC dashboards (on-site internship).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Map and analyse production-to-quality-control workflows to identify bottlenecks and variations in inspection activities.
  • Analyse production data to detect trends, anomalies and opportunities to reduce defect rates and improve process efficiency.
  • Design and implement statistical monitoring systems to detect deviations from quality standards in real time.
  • Develop and maintain KPI reporting related to defect rates and inspection process efficiency; create data-driven dashboards and periodic reports.
  • Collaborate with the industrial quality team and report findings to a designated tutor; support modelling efforts to optimise production and control processes.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Industrial/Management Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science or Data Science.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; familiarity with Power Apps.
  • Strong analytical skills, statistical reasoning and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate analyses clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, proactive attitude and reliable time management.
  • Fluent English; French language skills are a plus.
