Berluti is hiring a Footwear Assembly Department Supervisor in Ferrara to oversee production assembly, manage the team, optimize processes and layouts, and advance quality and continuous improvement. The role is permanent and full-time, under the Footwear Industry CCNL, Level V; working hours are 8:00–17:30 Monday to Thursday and 8:00–13:00 Friday. Gross annual salary starts at €30,000.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all activities in the production assembly department, with support from the Team Leader and Technologist.
- Ensure balance across the different production stages.
- Manage the team effectively, including work organization and production flow; ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- Optimize the department’s production processes and layout.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of departmental processes and performance.
- Lead continuous improvement projects.
- Build a quality-focused culture within the team, with a “right first time” approach.
- Manage and resolve production- and team-related issues.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience managing production departments; experience in the automotive sector is a plus.
- Strong know-how of manufacturing processes and knowledge of Lean principles.
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Analytical skills and a proactive approach.
- Strong quality orientation, with a “right first time” approach.
- Knowledge of core IT tools, including SAP, Excel, and Outlook.
