Berluti seeks a Business & Merchandising Analyst in Hong Kong to support regional APAC operations across sales, inventory, and buying functions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Track and report on sales performance and key KPIs including sell-out, sell-through, stock cover, stock turn, availability, and product rotation; prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales summaries, trackers, and analysis for management and stakeholders
- Prepare buying templates, pre-buy analysis, and product performance data for buying sessions; provide hands-on support during sessions including order processing, analysis updates, decision recording, and post-session follow-up
- Support assortment planning, product allocation, stock rebalancing, and lifecycle management for launches, carry-over items, and phase-out products across boutiques
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ageing, slow movers, and product rotation; coordinate inter-boutique transfers, stock rebalancing, and replenishment follow-up with Supply Chain teams
- Maintain monthly stock dashboards and Finance reporting; support Power BI reviews, data quality enhancements, and regional reporting improvements
- Gather boutique feedback, prepare store-visit reports, and conduct competitor and market analysis to inform local merchandising strategy
- Provide ad-hoc support to Finance with sales and inventory data reconciliation; respond to boutique requests; execute business improvement projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, Retail Management, Economics, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a retail or merchandising analyst role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams); Power BI or equivalent reporting tool experience preferred
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational capabilities with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in retail operations, merchandising analysis, or related business functions within luxury goods or fashion retail environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, Retail Management, Economics, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
