Berluti internship: Assistant Collection Merchandiser, Paris 8th. 6-month role supporting Ready-to-Wear product development and merchandising strategy, January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in the elaboration of collection briefs, including presentation of key metrics, competitive benchmarking of trends, products and pricing, and product strategy recommendations structured by category
- Track collection development phases with Studio and Development teams—prototypes, Fabric to Sketch, and editing—to ensure brief compliance and Design to Cost approach
- Prepare collection documentation including buying plans, model sheets, and PIM system entries for product information management
- Monitor and coordinate prototype and sample loans across internal departments; support photoshoot coordination
- Verify product codifications within the internal 'bbop' system in coordination with the Development team; reprocess IT extracts into SAP format and maintain daily coding updates during showroom periods
- Conduct competitive pricing benchmarking and support the definition of retail price targets and margin frameworks
- Prepare showroom logistics and collection presentations; develop sales support tools and commercial briefing notes
- Create collection books detailing product features, client benefits, and cross-sell opportunities; present training materials and lead product information completion in PIM
- Prepare seasonal activity reports and conduct ad hoc benchmarking analyses as required
- Coordinate cross-functional requests for prototypes and samples from marketing, wholesale, training, and e-commerce functions
Qualifications
- Business school graduate or equivalent with specialization in fashion school or fashion business programme
- Strong affinity for the luxury and masculine fashion universe
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent English required
- First-hand experience in fashion merchandising or collection planning (minimum 6 months)

Education
Business school graduate or equivalent qualification, ideally with specialization in fashion school or fashion business programme.
