Operations Associate supporting daily store operations at Bergdorf Goodman's iconic 5th Avenue location, managing merchandise stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, and inbound/outbound freight processing. The role encompasses merchandise placement, pricing, reticketing, backstock organization, and coordination of in-store events while maintaining luxury retail standards and operational excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Complete daily store operations and assist leads and managers with operational priorities
- Execute merchandise handling, transfers, and processing of inbound and outbound freight
- Fulfill, pack, and ship online and store customer orders to specifications
- Ensure merchandise placements comply with visual and merchandising standards
- Execute merchandise price changes, reticketing, and related inventory control processes
- Maintain back-stock organization, stockroom maintenance, and merchandise rotation
- Merchandise product and establish sale events and signage under manager and visual team guidance
- Support setup and takedown of in-store events and brand activations
- Adhere to all safety procedures on the dock and throughout work areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail or warehouse operations experience
- Proficiency with Google Suite
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly
- Capacity to stand, bend, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
