Bergdorf Goodman (New York) seeks a Selling Assistant — Men's Shoes & Accessories. Onsite role; hourly $19.61–$24.51. Support personal stylists and clienteling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support Personal Stylists in preparing and executing client selling appointments, including merchandising and styling support.
- Process and ring sales transactions accurately at the POS.
- Process merchandise for Fashionphile Service and ensure unsold items are returned to stock.
- Complete post-appointment follow-up: order tracking, alterations coordination, and sending thank-you notes.
- Assist with appointment scheduling and maintain precise clienteling records.
- Contribute to digital selling and the store's social media presence to engage clientele.
- Help organise gifting initiatives and client experiences for top clients.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of fitting rooms, coordinating housekeeping and maintenance as needed.
- Perform additional projects, tasks and duties as required by the business.
Qualifications
- Styling, fashion and/or fashion retail experience is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Comfortable working in a remote environment when required.
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in styling, fashion or fashion retail is required; experience supporting personal stylists or high-touch client services is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.61 to USD 24.51 per hour.
