Bergdorf Goodman (New York) seeks a Sales Associate, Ready-to-Wear — onsite role delivering luxury client service; hourly pay $15.00–$23.10.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional, consultative luxury client experience and drive individual and team sales performance.
- Greet and approach customers, assess needs, and recommend merchandise based on product knowledge and client preferences.
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through follow-up, clienteling activities and promotion of the InCircle loyalty program.
- Leverage mobile devices and clienteling tools to communicate with clients, expand business opportunities and track customer interactions.
- Support visual merchandising and maintain presentation standards on the selling floor.
- Ensure compliance with audit and operational procedures and demonstrate flexibility to changing business needs.
Qualifications
- Motivated, results-driven with strong attention to detail.
- Commission sales experience and previous retail experience preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift, bend and use stairs as required.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Comfortable using mobile devices and working with remote/clienteling technologies.

Previous retail experience with commission-based sales is preferred; demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets and cultivating long-term customer relationships.
