Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary operational lead for inventory and product-related processes in partnership with a dedicated support associate
- Plan, accomplish, and communicate daily operational goals with the support associate, Selling Coordinators, and Store Managers to drive efficiency and clarity
- Partner with the Director of Operations to prepare for the annual financial inventory, including ongoing audits and reconciliation to maintain year-round inventory accuracy
- Develop and execute operational projects including trunk show setups, collection launches, stockroom reorganization, and RTV (Return to Vendor) coordination aligned with brand standards
- Coordinate product movements such as transfers, damages, repairs, and off-season rotations in collaboration with corporate partners and internal sales teams
- Align operational activities with Selling Managers and Brand Managers to support sales targets and client appointment requirements
- Participate in operational meetings across Bergdorf Goodman to ensure understanding and support of shared team goals
- Maintain elevated selling floor and back-of-house standards reflecting luxury brand standards and Bergdorf Goodman's premium environment
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in luxury retail operations or inventory management
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in retail operations systems and inventory tracking
Skills
Experience
Experience in luxury retail operations, boutique management, or retail inventory coordination is preferred. Prior experience supporting sales floors and managing product movements is beneficial.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or retail management certification is preferred.
