An Operations Associate at Bergdorf Goodman supports core warehouse and fulfillment functions within the iconic Fifth Avenue flagship, including merchandise receiving, stocking, inventory control, and order fulfillment for both in-store and online channels. Role & Responsibilities
- Complete daily store operations and assist leads and managers with operational priorities
- Execute merchandise handling, transfers, and processing of inbound and outbound freight across warehouse and dock areas
- Fulfill, pack, and ship online and store customer orders with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain merchandise placement standards and ensure visual and organizational compliance throughout stockroom
- Process merchandise price changes, reticketing, and signage updates while managing mark-out-of-stock procedures
- Execute reticketing, damage assessment, mark-outs, and related inventory control processes
- Maintain back-stock organization, stockroom cleanliness, and efficient warehouse infrastructure
- Merchandise product under guidance of managers and visual merchandisers; support setup of sale events and signage
- Support setup and teardown of in-store events and promotional activations
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures on the dock and in all operational work areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail or warehouse experience
- Proficiency with Google Suite
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
