Bergdorf Goodman seeks an Operational Coordinator for Women's 2nd Floor in New York. Hourly position managing inventory, daily operations, and boutique coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary operational lead for inventory and product-related processes, partnering with a dedicated support associate to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Plan, communicate, and execute daily operational goals with support staff, Selling Coordinators, and Store Managers to drive operational clarity and performance
- Lead preparation for annual financial inventory in collaboration with the Director of Operations, including ongoing audits and reconciliation to maintain year-round inventory accuracy
- Coordinate multiple operational projects including trunk show and collection launch setups, stockroom reorganization, and RTV (return-to-vendor) coordination aligned with brand and store objectives
- Facilitate product movements—transfers, damages, repairs, and off-season rotations—in collaboration with corporate partners and internal sales teams to support merchandising plans
- Partner with Selling Managers and Brand Managers to align operational activities with sales targets and client appointment requirements
- Participate in cross-departmental meetings with Operations and Selling Managers to ensure alignment and support of shared team goals
- Maintain elevated selling floor and back-of-house standards reflective of luxury retail brand expectations and Bergdorf Goodman's premium environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail operations or floor coordination
- Demonstrated ability to manage inventory processes and maintain accuracy
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and with external brand partners
Skills
Experience
Experience in luxury retail operations, floor coordination, or related merchandising and inventory management roles is preferred. Familiarity with high-end retail environments and brand partnership dynamics is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
