Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and inspire the docent team to deliver white‑glove, brand‑aligned guest experiences.
- Design, refine and deliver curated guest journeys, guided tours and private experiences for VIPs and high‑profile visitors.
- Conduct daily briefings focused on storytelling, product knowledge, experiential touchpoints and service standards.
- Provide real‑time feedback, performance coaching and development plans for docent staff; support recruitment, onboarding and training.
- Host and personally guide VIP clients, brand partners and visiting delegates, anticipating needs and ensuring seamless interactions.
- Collaborate with Client Services, selling teams and visual leadership to maintain cohesive service and experiential standards.
- Resolve guest concerns with discretion and professionalism and identify opportunities to evolve the docent program.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in luxury retail, hospitality or cultural programming with the ability to manage and develop frontline teams.
- Exceptional verbal storytelling and presentation skills with deep appreciation for brand heritage, product craftsmanship and curation.
- Demonstrated aptitude for high‑touch clienteling and hosting VIP clientele with impeccable discretion.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to experiential detail and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
- Experience recruiting, training and delivering ongoing coaching to frontline staff.

Experience
Minimum of three years' experience in luxury retail, high‑end hospitality, museum/visitor services or experiential programming, including supervisory responsibility and demonstrated success hosting VIP guests.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in hospitality, communications, arts management or a related field preferred.
