Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and coordinate production of daily menu items and special-event offerings for the Men's Bar Kitchen, ensuring consistency with quality standards and menu counts.
  • Control daily and weekly inventories and communicate supply needs to supervisors to support production and minimise waste.
  • Use production (build-to) sheets and menu count data to plan portions and control food cost and profitability.
  • Maintain a clean, organised work area and perform closing and sanitizing duties according to local health codes and third‑party sanitation auditors.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment; report malfunctions to the designated Associate promptly.
  • Verify and execute special orders, communicate with service Associates to maintain flow of food orders, and check inventory of all menus.
  • Support supervisors and head cook with special preparations and with tasks required for daily kitchen operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum three years of relevant cooking experience in a high-volume or hospitality environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of health and sanitation standards and ability to comply with local Health Department and third‑party audit requirements.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, climb stairs and lift/carry up to 35 pounds.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset ("win together" mentality).
