Role & Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables promptly and discreetly to maintain a pristine dining environment between guests.
- Assist servers and captains to ensure smooth, efficient service during all meal periods.
- Refill water, bread, and other table items as directed to sustain uninterrupted guest service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and back-of-house areas.
- Properly handle, polish and care for china, glassware and silverware, including Ginori porcelain.
- Support opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown and sanitation tasks.
- Adhere to all health, safety and sanitation guidelines in compliance with NYC regulations.
- Anticipate guest and team needs in a fast-paced, high-end service environment.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred; luxury or fine-dining experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and elevated presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining professionalism and discretion.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays and peak retail hours.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
