Role & Responsibilities

  • Champion Bergdorf Goodman’s service values and promote the brand vision consistently across all client touchpoints.
  • Develop and deliver business plans with Bergdorf Goodman leadership, merchant teams and brand partners to drive sales growth and meet performance targets.
  • Design and execute sales strategies for both home-base and out-of-home selling teams, establishing sales volume objectives and defined KPIs.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support seasonal buy execution, critical deadlines and ongoing commercial initiatives.
  • Collaborate with brand visual partners to ensure merchandising and presentation align with brand standards and business objectives.
  • Compile business recaps and performance insights; communicate results to stakeholders through executive summaries and seller communications.
  • Ensure delivery of a superior client experience that aligns with Bergdorf Goodman and brand service standards.
  • Create and implement client strategies, including development of an emerging VIC (Very Important Client) program and retention plans.
  • Support planning and execution of client-facing events and experiential activations in partnership with brands.
  • Serve as a visible brand ambassador on the selling floor and build strong, collaborative relationships with leadership, merchant partners and brand teams.
  • Align selling, merchandising and client development initiatives to maximise commercial results.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in luxury retail, brand management, or a client‑facing commercial role.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of supporting business growth and achieving defined performance targets.
  • Strong client engagement and relationship‑building capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills.
  • Strategic mindset with keen attention to detail.
  • Collaborative, team‑oriented mentality with the ability to influence cross‑functional partners.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing and lifting up to 10 pounds.
