Benefit Cosmetics in Sydney seeks a Visual Merchandising & Design Coordinator to lead in‑store campaigns and design across Australia & New Zealand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, brief and coordinate all visual campaign elements (lightboxes, tester units, POS, traffic‑stopping tools) from concept through sampling, prototyping and installation.
- Adapt planograms and campaign visuals to multiple store formats across Australia & New Zealand and produce retailer‑specific trade briefs (Myer, Sephora NZ, Travel Retail).
- Localise and produce print and digital artwork, ensuring brand alignment and correct final file preparation for print/digital distribution.
- Create motion graphics and animations for digital and in‑store video content; maintain a library of design assets and templates.
- Manage campaign logistics including tester orders, installation schedules, distribution and remote store support; provide regular store-by-store feedback.
- Support budget processes by assisting with budget management, processing invoices and raising purchase orders for the VM team.
- Deliver VM training and coaching to field teams via workshops, store visits and written communications to ensure consistent execution.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance: manage requests, liaise with contractors, track inventory and ensure timely, on‑budget resolution.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Merchandising or a related discipline.
- Minimum three years’ professional experience in visual merchandising or retail design, preferably within cosmetics or beauty retail.
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and deliver to tight deadlines across multiple projects.
- Strong understanding of design principles, spatial planning and retail aesthetics.
- Excellent stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills, and proven project coordination ability.
- Willingness to travel to retail locations as required.

Education
