Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging, thoughtful packaging design solutions independently and collaboratively with creative leaders across all product lines

  • Navigate Accolade project management software and Proof HQ internal packaging review software to manage and route packaging through required channels
  • Prepare electronic files for output, including photo retouching, color correcting, and layer separations
  • Provide match prints, color targets, color approvals, and clear directions to suppliers during proofing stage
  • Research and stay current on sustainability innovations, competitors, and packaging trends in the global beauty industry
  • Maintain open communication with cross-functional teams to ensure project quality while understanding timing, cost, and constraint limitations
  • Attend high-level meetings to remain aware of product status and company growth strategies
  • Guide and train new hires and colleagues as needed

Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of related design experience, with packaging design experience preferred
  • Thorough understanding of concepting, packaging design, physical mock-up creation, and print production with strong eye for detail and color consistency
  • Advanced knowledge of industry-standard design programs
  • Proficiency in project management programs
