Benefit Cosmetics hiring Retail Account Manager in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Manage retail sales, teams, and multi-channel accounts. $68K–$85K.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute retail sales growth strategies including in-store events, product launches, and brand positioning initiatives across Sephora, Ulta, and department store accounts
  • Lead, coach, train, and supervise teams of sales associates, aestheticians, makeup artists, and freelancers to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales objectives
  • Recruit, hire, and develop counter and salon personnel; manage employee relations, performance, and payroll procedures in coordination with Human Resources
  • Conduct monthly training visits with retail partners utilizing Benefit's training modules; facilitate brand business reviews and strategize with store leadership for revenue growth
  • Monitor competitive landscape and Benefit's market rank; develop strategies to increase brand presence and trend with retail store and national product development trends
  • Oversee merchandising, visual displays, stock levels, and sanitation standards across all assigned locations to ensure compliance with company guidelines and state regulations
  • Manage territory budget and expenses; provide strategic feedback to leadership on business performance, market opportunities, and operational challenges
  • Monitor customer satisfaction ratings (Yelp, Google) to maintain collective averages above 4.0 and foster a positive, engaging retail environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of retail sales and service experience, preferably in the beauty industry or wholesale environment
  • Proven management experience with demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teams
  • Fluency in Spanish (required)
  • Active Cosmetology or Aesthetician license in Puerto Rico, or commitment to obtain certification within the first year (company-sponsored training provided)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable personal transportation
  • Must successfully pass an E-Verify background check
