Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive retail sales and service results while achieving corporate initiatives and promotional strategies across assigned territory
  • Coach and develop retail teams to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain online ratings (Yelp, Google) above 4.0
  • Develop and execute retail sales growth strategies, including in-store events, brand business reviews, and new product launches
  • Recruit, supervise, and motivate store associates, aestheticians, makeup artists, and freelancers; manage personnel performance and reduce turnover
  • Plan and conduct monthly training visits to retail accounts using Benefit-approved training modules
  • Monitor inventory levels, coordinate gondola and display updates, and ensure proper merchandising across all retail touchpoints
  • Oversee budget management and expense oversight for assigned territory, including payroll and timekeeping audits
  • Build and maintain relationships with District Managers, Prestige Managers, General Managers, and local cosmetology schools to support recruitment
  • Analyze competitive positioning and adjust retail strategies to maintain or exceed trend with market environment
  • Manage employee relations concerns including worker's compensation, leaves of absence, and performance issues in partnership with Human Resources

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of retail sales and service experience, preferably in the beauty or prestige cosmetics sector
  • Proven management experience leading and coaching teams with demonstrated ability to reduce turnover and improve productivity
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills across all organizational levels, from counter staff to vice presidents
  • Active Cosmetology or Aesthetician license (or willingness to obtain within first year of employment with company-sponsored training)
  • Current valid driver's license with proof of insurance and reliable transportation
  • Successful completion of E-Verify background check

Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required. Active Cosmetology or Aesthetician license preferred; if not currently licensed, the company will provide sponsored training for certification within the first year of employment.
