Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure highest level of customer service by coaching and developing team to deliver outstanding client experiences
  • Monitor Yelp and Google ratings to maintain average above 4.0 rating
  • Develop and execute continuous retail sales growth strategies including in-store events and product launches
  • Identify Benefit market rank and adjust strategies to increase performance aligned with retail trends and competitive landscape
  • Schedule and execute Sephora monthly training visits utilizing Committed, Express Committed, or Blended modules
  • Conduct Brand Business Reviews with Store Directors to strategize retail sales growth
  • Recruit, supervise, motivate, develop and promote team of store associates, aestheticians, makeup artists and freelancers
  • Build relationships with local cosmetology schools and key retail partners including District Managers and General Managers
  • Maintain ongoing monitoring, coaching and training of Benefit, Sephora and Ulta personnel on product lines, applications, selling techniques and events
  • Ensure store and counter displays are properly merchandised for maximum visual exposure and accessibility
  • Oversee all budget and expenses related to assigned territory
  • Manage employee relations concerns including worker's compensation, leaves of absence and performance issues
  • Analyze and communicate stock level concerns to department store, Sephora and Ulta personnel
  • Oversee sanitation and hygiene standards according to State Board guidelines

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of retail sales and service experience
  • Previous management experience with leading and coaching teams
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills at all organizational levels
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Proof of valid driver's license and current proof of insurance
  • Active Cosmetology or Aesthetician license in work state preferred; if not currently licensed, must obtain certification within first year of employment
  • Ability to pass E-Verify background check
