Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute seasonal promotional plans with the Sales Director
  • Identify volume opportunities and strategize plans to achieve annual sales goals
  • Implement retail sales goals by account and analyze performance across strengths and weaknesses
  • Create action plans to address performance gaps with specific volume targets and timelines
  • Administer and track territorial budgets, allocating resources according to business priorities
  • Monitor and control territory-related expenses including travel and freelance costs in compliance with budget parameters
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships and partnerships at counter and store management levels
  • Evaluate and optimize store space allocation, submitting seasonal floor plans after coordination with Sales Director
  • Conduct seasonal analysis of retail performance by product class and market segment
  • Monitor cosmetic and fragrance department trends and adjust strategies to improve Benefit market positioning
  • Provide feedback on sell-through performance for promotional and key items
  • Evaluate co-op and visual merchandising events to ensure positive return on investment
  • Build and develop professional teams of Retail Account Managers and Aestheticians
  • Recruit and develop Aesthetician talent through partnerships with cosmetology schools
  • Maintain open communication with Benefit management on all issues, opportunities, and concerns
  • Manage personal and team expenses within company travel and entertainment policy guidelines
  • Maintain a succession pool of qualified talent for future territorial positions
  • Ensure counter displays meet Benefit brand standards and cultural expectations
  • Keep in-store visuals current and enforce housekeeping standards with counter personnel
  • Maintain professional appearance and serviceability of all permanent and promotional displays
  • Optimize use of online booking tools and CRM data to maximize schedules and sales
  • Allocate promotional spending resources to maximize retail sales across all channels
  • Ensure timely receipt and distribution of promotional collateral and merchandising materials
  • Brief Retail Account Managers and store personnel on in-store events and new product launches
  • Establish realistic retail sales goals for both products and services
  • Ensure proper merchandising and visual exposure according to corporate Visual Merchandising directives
  • Maintain ongoing dialogue with leadership and store management regarding inventory and stock management

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of retail management experience in beauty retail or comparable sector
  • Proven track record of building, budgeting, and achieving retail sell-through sales goals
  • Demonstrated success identifying, recruiting, supervising, and developing Account Managers and Aestheticians
  • Strong training and leadership capabilities with proven selling and customer service expertise
  • Established credibility with staff and peers through consistent performance
  • Demonstrated ability to create and foster a learning environment
  • Broad exposure to competitive landscape and market dynamics enabling data-driven retail strategies
  • Experience working in matrix-organized environments where influence supersedes formal control
  • Proven budget management and cost control discipline
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Valid driver's license required
