Benefit Cosmetics is hiring a Production Planner in San Francisco (remote) to manage PO scheduling, supplier relations and new product launches.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define PO timing and quantities to schedule production and component deliveries, ensuring alignment with launch calendars and budgetary targets.
- Independently manage end-to-end relationships with suppliers and subcontractors; onboard new vendors and ensure operational alignment.
- Negotiate delivery schedules, order sizes and commercial terms to meet inventory, cost and timing objectives.
- Proactively identify late shipments and production risks; expedite orders and coordinate with logistics to mitigate disruptions.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Procurement, New Product Planning and inventory teams to secure on-time development and accurate stock records.
- Conduct post-production analyses and partner with process engineering to finalise scrap rates and continuous improvement actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in planning, procurement, production scheduling or project management (consumer goods or cosmetics preferred).
- Proven experience negotiating with vendors and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong Excel skills; demonstrated ability to analyse production schedules and inventory data.

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in planning, procurement, production scheduling or related project management roles within consumer goods, manufacturing or cosmetics environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
