Benefit Cosmetics seeks an Omnichannel Marketing Analyst in San Francisco to drive data-informed marketing decisions through analytics and consumer insights.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research, segmentation, and social listening analysis to understand beauty trends, media consumption, and consumer behaviors
  • Execute analysis of marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives across key channels; evaluate performance metrics, creative outputs, and cross-channel activation
  • Deliver monthly reports on customer behavior, social performance, and competitive landscape, incorporating financial data to support decision-making
  • Monitor key performance indicators to track performance shifts and inform optimization strategies
  • Support design of measurement frameworks to assess brand impact and marketing effectiveness, including testing strategies and benchmarks
  • Build and maintain scalable self-service dashboards; partner with technical teams to automate reporting and ensure data accuracy
  • Translate data into clear insights and key findings to support stakeholder decision-making and strategic recommendations
  • Support data collection, validation, and quality assurance to ensure accurate and reliable reporting
  • Leverage tools such as BigQuery to build automated, scalable data processes and anomaly detection systems
  • Maintain data structures and categorization for consistent cross-functional analysis
  • Support cross-functional analytical initiatives by coordinating timelines, aligning team inputs, and tracking deliverables
  • Keep teams updated on current digital, consumer, and analytics industry trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or related field; equivalent professional experience may be accepted
  • Minimum 2–3 years in data analysis, customer insights, research, or business intelligence, specifically in marketing analytics
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced functions
  • Experience with qualitative analysis; familiarity with statistical modeling and A/B testing
  • Working knowledge of data modeling, data structures, and data warehousing
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment
