Benefit Cosmetics seeks a Business Analyst Intern (SEA) in Singapore — 6-month FP&A internship supporting regional commercial and retail performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as business co-pilot to the Regional GM (SEA & TR APAC), supporting Sales and Finance with performance visibility and strategic initiatives.
- Track and report KPIs across Southeast Asia, including sales, productivity and sell-out trends by country, channel and door.
- Monitor door-level performance for key retailers with particular focus on flagship locations and partner stores.
- Contribute to the optimization and rollout of the new sales dashboard and other reporting tools.
- Prepare executive summaries and materials for business reviews, regional leadership and retailer meetings.
- Support P&L analysis, build business cases for new doors and investments, and assist month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Analyze growth drivers and risks, evaluate promotional effectiveness and measure profitability by country, channel and door.
- Automate reporting processes to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency using Excel and Power BI.
Qualifications
- Available to commit to a six-month full-time internship (Jun/Jul to Dec 2026).
- Strong analytical mindset with rigorous attention to detail.
- Business acumen and genuine interest in retail and commercial operations.
- Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience is an advantage.
- Proactive, adaptable and able to work cross-functionally with commercial and finance teams.
Skills
Experience
Beginner level; suitable for current students or recent graduates with limited professional experience. Prior exposure to finance, retail analytics or internships in commercial/FP&A contexts is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Science, or a related discipline.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Singapore, Central, Singapore.
