Role & Responsibilities
- Create an environment centered on passionate customer service and experience aligned with Benefit's brand values
- Execute Benefit's proprietary Beauty ABC selling formula and Service ABC protocols as detailed in the Global Service Handbook
- Teach, coach, and develop team members to consistently deliver outstanding customer service and achieve individual performance targets
- Maintain accurate and complete records in retail and POS systems; respond to Mirror Mirror reflections and online reviews within 24 hours
- Address customer complaints and inquiries within 24 hours, documenting incidents and reporting to the Regional Boutique Proprietor
- Ensure all clients sign E-waiver forms (service release and customer protection documents)
- Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly boutique sales goals while managing team members to meet their individual sales per hour (SPH) targets
- Hire, orient, develop, and retain boutique staff; conduct fair and timely performance reviews; document and address performance issues in partnership with HR and Regional management
- Train and supervise the Assistant Boutique Proprietor to develop their management and business capabilities
- Maintain excellent cash management, including safe access, security codes, petty cash oversight, and deposit procedures in accordance with Benefit policies
- Safeguard customer personal information and maintain compliance with state board regulations in partnership with aestheticians
- Monitor inventory levels, communicate concerns to regional leadership, and ensure proper receiving, transferring, and returning procedures
- Manage monthly boutique expenses and payroll within budgeted guidelines while achieving sales plans
- Promote cross-selling between services and products to maximize revenue opportunities
- Ensure boutique team compliance with all company and boutique policies; communicate updates and procedural changes clearly and timely
- Maintain boutique safety and security; protect assets against theft, damage, and cash loss
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness of timekeeping and payroll administration
Qualifications
- Active Aesthetician or Cosmetology license required
- Proven strong sales and service track record
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in retail or beauty sectors
- Ability to comfortably engage in beauty sales and service delivery
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and select holidays
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, e-waiver technology, inventory management systems, and general computer applications
- Strong numerical analysis and financial management capabilities
- Excellent verbal communication skills with both clients and team members
- Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service excellence
Skills
Experience
3–4 years of progressive retail experience with a minimum of 2 years in a management or supervisory capacity; demonstrated success in driving sales performance, building and coaching high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional customer service in a beauty or prestige retail environment.
Education
Active Aesthetician or Cosmetology license required; high school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in retail management or leadership is advantageous.
