Benefit Cosmetics — Accounting Manager in Paris (hybrid). Lead a small accounting team and oversee European month-end close and tax reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Organise and supervise daily accounting operations, including invoice entry and support to the accounting team.
- Manage payment campaigns for suppliers and employee expense reimbursements (notes de frais).
- Record fixed asset invoices and maintain fixed-asset registers.
- Lead monthly closing activities: payroll journal entries, provisions for operating expenses and expenses claims, fixed-asset management and reconciliations.
- Analyse aged receivable and payable balances and perform balance-sheet account reviews.
- Prepare and submit statutory and tax filings for European operations: monthly VAT and other declarations (IS, CVAE, TVS, DAS2, IFU, etc.) and the annual tax package (liasses fiscales).
- Supervise and coach a small accounting team (two direct reports) and ensure consistent application of procedures.
- Participate in finance projects such as implementation of an expense-management tool and automated bank reconciliations.
Qualifications
- DSCG or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Management.
- Minimum five years’ professional experience in accounting with responsibility for month-end closing and tax reporting.
- Proven ability to manage and develop a small accounting team.
- Highly organised, rigorous and autonomous with strong interpersonal skills and team spirit.
- Dynamic, flexible and solution-oriented.
- Fluent English (required); knowledge of AX accounting software is a strong plus.

Experience
At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including responsibility for month‑end closings, statutory and tax reporting in a multi‑country European context and prior line management of accounting staff.
Education
DSCG or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Management.
