Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, part of Belmond, is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Portofino to oversee warehouse operations, product availability, quality standards, procedures, and cost control. The role is seasonal under C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo, Level 2 (Warehouse Manager), with a start date of September 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the full warehouse cycle, including goods receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory.
- Check received goods against orders, delivery notes (DDT), and hotel quality standards.
- Ensure products are stored in line with HACCP regulations, safety standards, and luxury best practices.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
- Work with the Purchasing Department to optimize orders, lead times, and supplier relationships.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories and accounting reconciliations.
- Support cost control by reducing waste, inventory discrepancies, and obsolescence.
- Use management systems, including ERP, PMS, and warehouse software.
- Work closely with operational departments to understand their needs and priorities.
- Apply and enforce company procedures and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent qualification; qualifications in economics or logistics are a plus.
- Previous experience in the role in five-star hotels or luxury settings.
- Knowledge of hotel warehouse flows, including F&B, Housekeeping, and Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse accounting and cost control, and familiarity with inventory management IT systems.
- Knowledge of HACCP regulations and workplace safety.
- Accuracy, reliability, a strong sense of responsibility, and excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Confidentiality and professional integrity.
- Fluent Italian and professional English, written and spoken.

Previous experience in the role in five-star hotels or luxury settings.
Education
Diploma or equivalent qualification; qualifications in economics or logistics are a plus.

This position is based in Portofino, Liguria, Italy, within easy reach of Genoa.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 45,000 to EUR 50,000 per annum.
