Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, seeks a Valet to join its front-of-house team for the 2027 season, reporting to the Head Concierge. The role covers guest arrivals and departures, vehicle and shuttle parking, coordination with reception and concierge, and guest requests; this is seasonal employment from March to November 2027 under the C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo, Level 4, Valet.
Role & Responsibilities
- Handle all valet operations, including greeting guests and escorting them to reception.
- Drive and park cars and shuttles, and manage guest arrivals and departures in accordance with Belmond policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
- Coordinate with reception and concierge.
- Assist with all guest requests.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Italian; a third language is preferred.
- Previous experience in the same position at a five-star hotel.
- Knowledge of hotel management software such as Infor HMS, or equivalent, and the Microsoft suite.
- Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally.
- Effective communication, emotional intelligence, and adaptability.
- Ability and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to deliver consistently high service by anticipating and exceeding the expectations of guests and colleagues.
- Ability to treat others with respect and inclusiveness regardless of position, level, or background.
