Belmond seeks a detail-oriented Staff Residence Coordinator for its new employee residence in Giardini Naxos, overseeing property operations and creating a safe, welcoming living environment for seasonal colleagues. The role includes access control, onboarding, room inventories, maintenance and housekeeping coordination, waste management, parking, and administrative duties; it is a seasonal position for the 2027 season under the C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Federalberghi.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage property surveillance and access control, maintaining the cleanliness, order, and decorum of all common areas.
  • Enforce internal house regulations and ensure compliance with Health & Safety guidelines throughout the property.
  • Coordinate pre-arrival preparations, including room inventory checks, and report maintenance or housekeeping needs to the relevant departments.
  • Lead onboarding for new colleagues by conducting property tours, explaining house rules for legal sign-off, and issuing electronic key cards.
  • Oversee check-outs, re-inventorying rooms to assess their condition and reporting missing equipment or damage.
  • Coordinate routine maintenance work and housekeeping shifts within the staff residence.
  • Supervise waste management, monitoring compliance with recycling schedules and waste-reduction practices in line with Belmond’s sustainability policies.
  • Manage the internal parking lot, ensuring vehicles are correctly placed and maintaining an up-to-date register of authorized cars and scooters.
  • Handle administrative duties, including troubleshooting electronic key cards, managing lost and found, conducting periodic room inspections, and keeping internal communication boards up to date.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality operations, front office, housekeeping supervision, facility management, or residence/property coordination.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a diplomatic yet firm approach to enforcing internal rules.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and composure when handling multiple internal requests.
  • Knowledge of basic safety standards and facility maintenance tracking.
  • Fluent Italian and a good working knowledge of English to support international team members.
