Belmond is seeking a Spa Therapist to join the wellness team at Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro. The role delivers personalised spa treatments, recommends complementary experiences and products, maintains spa standards, and collaborates with hotel teams. The position offers a 5-on/2-off schedule.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create wellness experiences aligned with Belmond and the spa’s high standards of excellence.
- Perform spa treatments with technique, precision and sensitivity, respecting each guest’s and client’s individual needs and preferences.
- Provide personalised service, identifying opportunities to recommend treatments, experiences and products that complement the wellness journey.
- Guide each stage of the client experience with attention to detail, discretion and genuine hospitality.
- Maintain impeccable spa environments, equipment and materials, preserving the spa’s standards of quality, elegance and care.
- Collaborate with the spa and hotel teams to contribute to an integrated, memorable experience.
Qualifications
- Academic qualification in Physiotherapy, Aesthetics, Biomedicine or a related field.
- Specialisation or additional training in Massage Therapy, Aesthetics or Integrative Therapies.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Spa Therapist or in related fields, preferably in luxury hotels or spas.
- Knowledge of luxury hospitality standards of excellence and customer service.
- Advanced or fluent English.
