Reid’s Palace, A Belmond Hotel, Madeira seeks a Spa Therapist to deliver personalized massages and body and facial treatments, provide attentive guest consultations, and uphold exceptional standards of hospitality, hygiene and treatment-room presentation. The role also supports Spa scheduling, records services, and consultatively promotes treatments and luxury products.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized massages and treatments tailored to each guest’s needs and preferences.
- Perform high-quality body and facial treatments in accordance with established protocols.
- Welcome guests warmly, elegantly and professionally.
- Conduct initial consultations to identify expectations and recommend suitable treatments.
- Deliver a distinctive wellness experience, ensuring comfort, discretion and attention to detail.
- Recommend complementary treatments and luxury products suited to individual needs.
- Prepare, organize and maintain the impeccable presentation of treatment rooms.
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, safety and equipment sterilization.
- Keep products, materials and operational linen organized and replenished.
- Help maintain the Spa’s facilities to an excellent standard.
- Support the daily management of appointments and treatments.
- Promote and sell Spa treatments and products through a consultative, personalized approach.

Qualifications
- Previous professional experience in the role, preferably in luxury hospitality or a leading Spa.
- Professional certification in Esthetics, Massage or Wellness Therapies.
- Solid knowledge of massage techniques and wellness treatments.
- Strong client orientation and a passion for providing exceptional experiences.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
