The Social Media Intern supports Belmond's Southern Europe team in creating content for Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook, contributing to editorial planning, copywriting, community management, visual selection, reporting and analysis. This is a curricular or extracurricular internship.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the team in monitoring and managing the international community by responding to direct messages and comments through a dedicated platform and engaging with audiences across social channels.
- Write English and Italian captions and short social media texts, developing different storytelling approaches in Belmond's Tone of Voice.
- Curate and select visual content aligned with Belmond's art direction for social media channels.
- Support the Social Media Managers with monthly reporting and analysis to measure and improve social media performance.
- Contribute to editorial plan development, content selection, copywriting, community management, analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications or a related Hospitality field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent command of Canva.
- Passion for and interest in hospitality and digital media.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft engaging and compelling content.
- Time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
