The Social Media Coordinator supports social media activity across Belmond properties in Southern Europe and the UK, covering content planning and publishing, copywriting, asset coordination, campaigns, shoots and reporting. The role is based in the regional Social Media team and is offered on a 12-month temporary contract.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of social media channels across Belmond properties in Southern Europe and the UK.
- Assist with content grid planning, scheduling and publishing across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- Write engaging social media copy that reflects Belmond’s distinctive tone of voice.
- Coordinate the monthly social media content calendar, ensuring posts are scheduled accurately and delivered on time.
- Coordinate social media assets, keeping imagery and video content organised and readily available in internal image libraries.
- Work closely with hotels and internal stakeholders to source relevant content, identify storytelling opportunities and support social media campaigns.
- Support photo and video shoot organisation, including planning, logistics, content requirements and coordination with internal teams and external partners.
- Track campaign performance and prepare regular reports using platform analytics and reporting tools.
- Support Social Media Managers with ad hoc marketing and social media projects.
Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
- Understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and emerging social platforms.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, handle concurrent demands and prioritise responsibilities.
- Proficient in Canva and social media scheduling and analytics platforms.
- Strong visual and creative skills, including the ability to understand art direction and luxury, and evaluate on-brand and off-brand content.
- A background in the luxury industry is desirable.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media and marketing.
