Belmond seeks a Security Supervisor for the 2027 season at Castello di Casole in Tuscany to safeguard guests, colleagues, and property while upholding luxury hospitality standards. The role leads risk management, HSE compliance, security operations, emergency preparedness, and colleague training.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance, HACCP standards, Legionella prevention, regular safety inspections, and operational audits across the property.
- Manage security services, access control, CCTV, intrusion systems, and Control Room operations.
- Protect guests, colleagues, and company assets through fraud prevention, internal investigations, and VIP security.
- Maintain fire, emergency, and evacuation plans; coordinate regular drills and emergency exercises.
- Manage the Business Continuity Programme and facilitate crisis-management tabletop exercises with the leadership team.
- Conduct operational, environmental, and security risk assessments.
- Develop and deliver safety, security, emergency, and compliance training and awareness programmes for colleagues.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Italian.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities, with high attention to detail.
- Proven experience in health, safety, and environment (HSE) and security management within hospitality or luxury residential properties.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in emergency response, crisis management, and team training.
- Hands-on experience conducting operational risk assessments, audits, and internal investigations.
