Belmond is recruiting a Room Attendant for the 2027 season at Hotel Splendido in Portofino. The role delivers high standards of guest-room care while respecting guest privacy and includes a seasonal contract under the C.C.N.L. Tourism Sector, Level 5, from March to November 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Make beds and thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including fixtures, showers or bathtubs, and floors; dust furniture and wash guest-room floors.
- Replace soiled sheets, pillowcases, and towels with clean linen.
- Restock the minibar and replenish guest amenities, including soap, shampoo, shower caps, and toilet paper, as well as hotel stationery and informational materials.
- Collect items guests have left behind and report them to housekeeping management or reception.
- Apply knowledge of Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards, which set international luxury-hotel benchmarks for service excellence.
- Provide guests with exceptionally high service in a welcoming atmosphere while respecting their privacy.
Qualifications
- Fluent Italian and basic English.
- Passion for housekeeping service and ambition to grow professionally.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team, sharing information and skills.
- Ability to consistently deliver high cleaning standards, identify priorities, and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Goal-oriented approach, delivering genuine, consistent, high-level service while anticipating and exceeding the expectations of guests and colleagues.
