Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, seeks a Restaurant Service Assistant for the Pool Grill Restaurant for the 2027 season, reporting to the Restaurant Manager and supporting authentic, high-quality dining service. The role covers mise en place, service support, restaurant setup and monitoring and enhancing the guest experience. Seasonal labour contract under C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo, Level 5, Commis de Rang, from March to November 2027.

Role & Responsibilities

• Carry out operations at the Pool Grill Restaurant in accordance with company policies, standards and procedures, including preparing the mise en place.
• Support the Chef de Rang during service.
• Clean and set up floors, tables, chairs, linens, glassware and silverware for service.
• Monitor all aspects of the guest experience, from the restaurant layout before arrival through the service itself.
• Help deliver flawless service and anticipate guests’ needs.

• Shows sensitivity to the needs and emotions of guests and colleagues, adapting their approach accordingly.
• Recognizes when a different approach is needed and offers solutions.
• Willingness to try and adopt new ways of working.
• Works collaboratively as a team member, shares information and skills, and actively seeks and provides feedback.
• Fluent in Italian and basic English.
• Previous professional experience in a similar role, including school internships.
• Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally.
