Belmond is seeking a Restaurant Host for Grand Hotel Timeo in Taormina, Italy, for the 2027 season. The role welcomes guests, manages reservations and seating, communicates guest needs to the service team and kitchen, and gathers feedback.

Role & Responsibilities

• Welcome guests on arrival, manage guest flow, table assignments, and coat checks.
• Manage restaurant reservations and table bookings.
• Communicate guest preferences, special celebrations, and allergies accurately to the service team and kitchen.
• Escort guests to their tables, ensure their immediate comfort, and introduce the floor team.
• Handle incoming calls, guest inquiries, and seating changes with grace and professionalism.
• Bid farewell to departing guests and gather feedback to ensure complete satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent presentation, poise, and welcoming interpersonal skills.
• Experience with reservation management software and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure during peak service.
• Fluent Italian and English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.

The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 22,000 to EUR 24,000 per annum.
