The Reservations Executive manages reservations for Belmond properties in Peru, prepares tailored quotations and itineraries, handles guest enquiries and supports upselling and reservations processes. This is a temporary, on-site role in Lima for 6 months, from October through March, on a 5x2 schedule.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage individual, corporate, agency, consortia and direct-client reservations for all Belmond hotels in Peru, maintaining a high level of service.
- Prepare quotations, pro formas and personalized itineraries aligned with guest needs and coordinated across properties.
- Handle client requests and enquiries by telephone and other channels, providing warm, professional service in line with the brand.
- Enter, review and update reservations in the relevant systems, ensuring recorded information is accurate, complete and reliable.
- Record guest details, preferences and requirements accurately, ensuring effective information handover to operational teams.
- Apply knowledge of rates, promotions, Bellini Club, consortia and corporate agreements when managing reservations and quotations.
- Upsell rooms, experiences, transfers and supplementary services to enhance the guest experience and maximize commercial opportunities.
- Follow up on corporate reservations, waitlists, complimentary reservations and house-use bookings, checking deadlines, cut-off times and information consistency.
- Contribute to database updates, report generation and process improvements related to reservations management.
- Meet response-time targets, LQA standards and the company’s occupational health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Technical qualification in Administration, Tourism and Hospitality, Commercial Studies or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills.
- Knowledge of systems such as Salesforce, NICE, Infor HMS, Opera, Infhotel or similar platforms is desirable.
- At least 2 years of experience in Front Office, Guest Relations, Reservations or similar positions.
- Leadership, empathy and analytical skills, along with effective oral and written communication and the ability to work under pressure.
- Availability to work for 6 months, from October through March, on-site in Lima on a 5x2 schedule.
