Belmond’s Regional Wellness Manager leads wellness development across the guest experience in the Southern Europe Division, aligning locally relevant concepts with the Belmond Wellness Philosophy and Framework. The role oversees spa and fitness performance, partnerships, commercial results and pre-opening activity. Permanent contract under CCNL Federalberghi - Turismo.

Role & Responsibilities

• Translate Belmond’s Wellness Vision into operational practice across the Division’s hotels.
• Develop and support the implementation of locally relevant wellness concepts and initiatives with property business leaders.
• Promote the use of Belmond’s wellness processes, frameworks, tools and best practices across its operations.
• Support Spa Leaders in aligning spa, fitness and wellness services and programmes with Belmond, LQA and Forbes standards.
• Oversee day-to-day partnerships between individual properties and spa partners, including Dior and Guerlain.
• Collaborate with Brand and Operations teams to identify, select and contract strategic wellness partnerships that complement each property’s wellness concepts.
• Coach Spa Leaders on commercial strategy, operational efficiency, cost control and profitability for spa and wellness facilities.
• Monitor spa and wellness performance, identifying opportunities and solutions to improve results.
• Work with Spa Leaders on seasonal closures and reopenings, leading pre-opening tasks for the Division’s spa and wellness operations outside seasonal employment schedules.
• Work with the Global Head of Wellness & Guest Experience on wellness concepts and facilities for new and renovated properties.
• Foster shared learning, professional growth, collaboration and empowerment within the on-property Spa & Wellness community.
• Use utilities and resources responsibly to control waste.
• Communicate relevant information to the department, line manager and other departments as appropriate.
• Follow safe working practices and Health and Safety policy, and report accidents or defects immediately.
• Attend learning and development courses and complete eLearning modules as required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience leading a luxury spa or wellness environment.
• Experience in luxury environments, with a deep understanding of operational excellence and luxury standards.
• A proven record of implementing and operating successful spa and wellness initiatives and environments.
• Experience in the pre-opening and opening stages of creating wellness and spa facilities.
• Commercial acumen and fluency in the financial realities of operating spa and wellness environments, with a proactive approach to enhancing guest experience and driving business growth.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret datasets.
• Strong project management skills and knowledge.
• A passion for and understanding of wellness and wellbeing, with a strong personal interest in the field.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English; Italian fluency preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 55,000 to EUR 60,000 per annum.
