The Quality and Process Manager oversees the quality, compliance, availability, and traceability of technical spare parts and maintenance processes across the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express fleet. The role manages suppliers and technical procurement, supports maintenance and certification requirements, and ensures alignment with EU Regulation 2019/779, audit requirements, operational needs, technical specifications, and budget objectives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the quality, compliance, availability, and traceability of technical spare parts and maintenance processes across the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express fleet.
- Manage supplier performance and technical procurement of spare parts, materials, and services in line with operational needs, technical specifications, regulatory obligations, and budget objectives.
- Support maintenance and certification requirements and ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
- Promote continuous improvement in support of safe, reliable, compliant, and efficient railway operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in railway maintenance, quality assurance, auditing, or technical procurement.
- Knowledge of EU Regulation 2019/779 and ECM functions (ECM 3 and ECM 4).
- Experience in audit coordination, KPI monitoring, non-conformity management, and corrective actions.
- Skills in technical spare parts procurement, supplier qualification, negotiation, and quality monitoring.
- Knowledge of maintenance planning, traceability, configuration management, and technical documentation control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and maintenance management systems (CMMS/ERP).
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
