Belmond seeks a Property Security Manager at Caruso in Ravello to support safety, security, and risk management across the property, reporting to the Cluster Safety and Security Manager. The role covers physical security, emergency and incident response, regulatory compliance, VIP and event risk assessments, training, and pre-employment screening. The position offers a permanent contract under the Tourism Sector CCNL.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage physical security, including CCTV systems, access control, and flow management.
- Inspect risk management systems regularly, including fire and evacuation equipment, and supervise corrective actions as needed.
- Support planned preventative maintenance of security and fire safety systems.
- Participate in emergency planning, drills, and property preparedness programs.
- Coordinate initial incident investigations with local emergency services and prepare required documentation.
- Manage critical situations promptly and efficiently with a professional, solution-oriented approach.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire prevention, and local regulatory requirements.
- Support departments in implementing security protocols and promoting a culture of prevention and resilience.
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team on hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP/Hygiene).
- Conduct preliminary risk assessments for VIP visits, special events, and large functions.
- Implement dedicated protective measures with relevant stakeholders.
- Support security training for security and non-security personnel, promoting awareness and company compliance.
- Support Human Resources with pre-employment screening, including reference and background checks where required.
Qualifications
- Certification in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Excellent command of the local language and English, written and spoken.
Skills
Experience
At least 2–4 years of progressive experience in similar security roles, preferably in luxury hospitality, corporate, or high-end retail.
Education
Certification in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
