Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel, is seeking a Pool Attendant for the 2027 season on a seasonal contract under the C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Federalberghi. The role combines continuous pool safety surveillance with personalized poolside hospitality, light food and beverage service, and the upkeep of the pool deck.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct continuous surveillance of the pool area as the primary lifeguard, enforce safety guidelines and maintain the required certifications.
- Welcome guests to the pool area, arrange sun loungers, distribute towels and introduce available amenities.
- Support the Pool Bar team by presenting menus, taking orders for light refreshments, and delivering drinks and snacks to sun loungers.
- Review daily arrival lists to identify VIPs and repeat guests, prepare their preferred poolside spots, and personalize their day with tailored amenities or celebratory touches.
- Maintain the cleanliness, hygiene and aesthetic standards of the pool deck.
Qualifications
- Hold a valid, mandatory Lifeguard License/Certification (Brevetto di Assistente Bagnanti / Bagnino di Salvataggio).
- Experience in luxury hospitality, upscale beach clubs or premium wellness facilities is highly preferred.
- Demonstrate empathy, warmth and strong interpersonal skills, balancing safety duties with guest-facing hospitality.
- Show agility in multitasking, combining pool safety vigilance with proactive service and creative guest-delight initiatives.
- Fluency in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 16,000 to EUR 18,000 per annum.
