Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel, seeks a meticulous Payroll Administrator to manage payroll, time-off administration, employee welfare, HR reporting, regulatory compliance, and employee records. The role requires at least three years of relevant experience and fluency in Italian and English; it is offered on a permanent contract.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process payroll, including time and attendance tracking, overtime calculations, bonuses, and deductions using Zucchetti systems.
- Monitor and control time-off balances, ensuring accurate tracking, scheduling, and compliance for employee ferie and ROL allocations.
- Administer the company welfare program, support employees with benefits, and optimize platform engagement.
- Prepare HR analytics and reports for Finance and Management on labor costs, trends, and statistics.
- Ensure compliance with CCNL Turismo regulations, collective agreements, and institutional requirements.
- Address employee administrative needs by resolving complex payroll inquiries and contract updates with discretion, empathy, and speed.
- Maintain accurate employee records, mandatory communications (Unilav), and payroll logs in internal HR systems.
- Maintain a professional, welcoming presence within the HR department and act as a supportive, trusted ambassador for the company culture.
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of CCNL Turismo and Italian labor law, including contractual clauses and social security regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in Zucchetti software, including Paghe Web, Presenze, and related HR modules.
- Expertise in data analysis and reporting, with strong numerical aptitude and budget-tracking capability.
- Outstanding communication, diplomacy, and active listening skills when handling sensitive and confidential employee matters.
- Fluency in Italian and English; excellent organizational skills to manage high-volume seasonal staffing dynamics.

The successful candidate will be located in Taormina, Sicily, Italy.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 28,000 to EUR 32,000 per annum.
