The Marketing and Communications Manager leads marketing strategy, campaigns, partnerships, brand consistency, sustainability initiatives, and guest communications for Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel, across the Caribbean. The role reports to the Brand Associate Director, works closely with regional and property leadership, and manages the Sales & Marketing Assistant in Anguilla.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, conduct, and oversee marketing campaigns and promotional activities for the Caribbean region in alignment with the Brand Associate Director and Global Brand & Marketing team.
- Lead promotional and marketing plans across the website, digital advertising, email, social channels, print, events, partnerships, photoshoots, and collateral to grow revenue across primary and secondary markets.
- Adapt marketing plans in real time in response to changing sales patterns and business needs.
- Ensure consistency across marketing and social media touchpoints, protecting the property and global Belmond identity.
- Partner with Operations and Marketing teams to shape guest experiences from acquisition through on-property engagement to advocacy, and work with Human Resources to establish property brand culture.
- Identify and cultivate partnerships with luxury brands, cultural institutions, artists, community programs, wellness practitioners, and chefs.
- Support, promote, and elevate regional sustainability initiatives.
- Manage the Sales & Marketing Assistant in Anguilla and promote ongoing learning, mandatory training, and brand alignment across the regional team.
- Host key partners, influencers, and media, and represent Belmond at industry events to secure business and visibility.
- Track market trends, data, and competitor activity to understand target guest needs and interests.
Qualifications
- University or college degree in business administration, marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a marketing role; international luxury hotel brand experience and Caribbean market experience are strong pluses.
- Recognised people leadership skills and expert communication and presentation abilities across all organisational levels.
- Creative thinking, sharp attention to detail, and the agility to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to travel regularly and work comfortably in both interior and exterior hotel environments, including exposure to sun, humidity, and varying weather conditions.

At least 3 years in a marketing role; international luxury hotel brand experience and Caribbean market experience are strong pluses.
Education
University or college degree in business administration, marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, or a related field.
