Castello di Casole, a Belmond property, seeks a Lifeguard for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. The role supports guests in accordance with Belmond standards, anticipates their needs, maintains clean and orderly pool areas, and collaborates with colleagues across departments.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist and ensure guests are served courteously and efficiently in accordance with Belmond standards.
• Anticipate guests’ needs.
• Keep the work station clean at all times.
• Ensure all pool furniture is neatly arranged and clean.
• Work closely with colleagues in other departments and provide assistance.

Qualifications

• Effective communication, both verbal and non-verbal, that positively impacts the role, the business and Belmond; ability to use and interpret non-verbal behaviours to enhance understanding.
• Emotional intelligence, including the ability to control and express emotions and manage interpersonal relationships.
• Ability to collaborate successfully as part of a group, show respect, share information and skills, and continuously develop.
• Drive to deliver exceptional, consistent service to internal and external customers by anticipating and exceeding expectations; sense of urgency and ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
• Adaptability: accepts change, participates in new programmes and processes, learns new skills, keeps up to date with departmental developments, manages multiple tasks, adjusts behaviour and priorities as needed, and remains calm under pressure.
• High school diploma or general education degree.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Lifeguard certification.
