Castello di Casole, a Belmond Hotel, is seeking a reliable, collaborative Kitchen Porter to maintain kitchen cleanliness and operational efficiency. The role is seasonal and governed by the CCNL Turismo Federalberghi.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and sanitation across kitchen areas, dishwashing stations, and food preparation spaces.
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store chinaware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils.
- Support the culinary team with basic food preparation setup, garbage disposal, and recycling separation in accordance with sustainability guidelines.
- Use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly, following safety protocols.
- Support inventory management for cleaning supplies and stewards’ equipment.
- Comply with HACCP regulations and health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen utility, stewarding, or porter role within luxury hospitality or high-volume restaurants is preferred.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and physical stamina.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic understanding of hygiene standards and chemical safety protocols.
- Conversational Italian or English.
